AboutHey, everybody. My name is Erik Bremer, and I am the Manager of Broadcasting and Media Relations for the Fredericksburg Nationals, Advanced-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals. 2020 marks my fourth year in affiliated professional baseball, and second in the Carolina League after working last season as a broadcaster for the Potomac Nationals. I spent the prior two summers in the Milwaukee Brewers minor league system, announcing games for the Triple-A Colorado Springs Sky Sox in 2018 and the Double-A Biloxi Shuckers in 2017. I have also served as the play-by-play voice for the Brisbane Bandits of the Australian Baseball League for the past two seasons.
My other stops include an internship with the baseball information department of the Minnesota Twins and a summer with the Wareham Gatemen of the Cape Cod Baseball League. I am a 2016 graduate of Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, where I announced baseball, basketball, football and softball for 89.3 WNUR and the Big Ten Network's StudentU program. As a freelance broadcaster, I have provided play-by-play for the Cape League All Star Game on National Public Radio, the Conference USA Baseball Tournament Semifinals on ESPN3, Augsburg University men's and women's basketball, and Minnesota State High School League football, basketball and hockey tournaments. I'm always looking for new and exciting opportunities, so contact me if you want to talk about the future! |
